For the 4th consecutive year Art AZ   organized its annual art event,"Surprise, for the support of the homeless of Athens. All artworks are the same size, are offered for the same, symbolic price  and are signed at the back.

"Surprise 4" was held at the City of Athens Technopolis.

“The Secret Garden”

This is my artwork “The Secret Garden” for the group  exhibition "Inside Boxes - Beyond Borders". The exhibition was part of Knowledge in a Box symposium.

Simoni presents “The Secret Garden”, a wooden box marked on the exterior with her graffiti representational logo, whereas its interior is filled with sand. The delicate, girly face on the external surface reveals a renewed interest on the subject of beauty and goes beyond traditional notions: it connects beauty with a new genre of humanism and moral value. The construction’s interior with its load of sand may actually allude to the secure, enclosed garden (hortus conclusus). Alternatively, the sand itself may be construed as a suggestion to the transient female identity, which is perpetually in a constant flux.

Meeting of styles Athens 2012

 last June we went to Athens for the "Meeting of Styles".

For the first time the greek Meeting of Styles went to the capital of the country Athens. Great times and lots of fun :D Special thanx to Stigma lab and Kobra cans.
